Professor Glassman has taught in Yeshiva College since 1998. He holds Master of Architecture and Master of Business Administration degrees. He previously taught at Pratt Institute and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

His interests lie in synagogue architecture, design methodology, and the modern house.

Professor Glassman's most recent book chapter is "Debias Your Hiring Practices: Supporting Equity for Neurodiverse Candidates in Job Interviews" in Critical Library Leadership: Managing Self and Others in Today's Academic Library (ALA Editions, 2024). He is the coauthor of The Handbook of Art and Design Librarianship with Judy Dyki (2017), now in its second edition. Book chapters include "Managing Facilities" in Information Services Today, ed. Sandra Hirsh, 2015, and "How to Create Functional, Flexible, and Forgiving Library Spaces" in The Small Library Manager's Handbook, ed. Alice Graves (2014). He wrote "Who Put That Column into the Middle of the Room? Designing Functional, Flexible, and Forgiving Spaces for Library Instruction" for the conference proceedings Moving Targets: Understanding our Changing Landscapes (LOEX Press, 2006).
